Kawaii Life but am a Alternative girl

So it has been like a minute... I have had some ups and downs over the past wee while. Processing the of late labels that now are part of the House of Tartan ,so I took some time out . Pretty much I have been only been active on Instagram, which seems to be my go to at the moment . Even shut off chat on facebook for some headspace. Last time I did anything for my you tube channel was for a gaming festival/ Lego convention and then it has been left to sit and well do nothing.

So..What's new? well not much to be honest with you all, a few things is that am now trying to support some UK online shops such as Alluraura and Flame-Lilly . Alluraura have a check out discount code TARTAN15 so save some pennies guys! (Disclaimer I do not earn any commission on any of my codes!) Am not doing much else .

It has been a month since I spoke about nugoth fashion and yuh I get it am the last to get on that train but now that it has been a month of dressing and styling myself in this fashion . I really like it . Don't yall go running thinking that I have left Kawaii lol! Naw I adore my kawaii life and lifestyle but nugoth and grunge is for sure the way I like to dress and something am wearing in comfort. I like mixing these 2 things, styles, together. It has been fun. I guess when every one things that once you start dressing one way or a other you are to like make everything about that. But I just can not tear myself away form my kawaii life . I am discovering that there is a lot of kawaii even in goth/scene/alternative niche fashions . Am I slipping into more dark vibes and stuff? I honestly think its more my fashion  cause it just fits so well ..however I am thinking its all more alternative styles than like pure goth- white face and black lippy only. I mean, I still pick up pink and then I pick black haha! I think its totally cool to have dark vibes mixed with the cute . I mean we don't have to all fit inside a fashion or style box . There is no stopping me falling head over heels with Pusheen , Kitty and Rilakkuma! Nor is there no stopping me buying kawaii stuff so I would say I have maybe matured in style? Who knows.

I even been looking at spreading my wings out with make up shades , I even wore blue eye shadow the other day *gasp* and for once in my life it worked , I did not look like a 6 year old who broke into some naff teen aged marketed blue powder. Lmao!!  I picked up 2 eye shadow pallets from NYX cosmetics feeling brave picking those blue tones and cool tones. I do feel nervous when I use the colours but I have been looking to my favourite ig accounts and you-tubers for inspiration and even looking at more nugoth / grunge videos to go with my new style. I have to say that the new eyeshadows are really nice and easy to blend and use. I recommend them. I might make a blog post of a list of those I follow and find inspiring at a later date.

Anyway just a short post of my rambles and musing. Will try and post something more of interest later.

A Gothic style

So I guess I may have found my style in the Fashion of Lolita is the style of Gothic I feel much more comfortable with Gothic stuff yet I do love my accessories of Kawaii and Kitsch not sure maybe I could make that work?!

I do like to wear cute things but sweet Lolita is maybe to sweet for me,I think I will keep my cuteness to simple to today outfits,I have got a Gothic Lolita outfit on order which is very OTT and I am looking forward to using it but in the mean time I decided to give my newest wig a go with a Gothic outfit.

I teamed up a old Gothic Dress and Black lace blouse and my new rock hells,Should have used black tights instead of natural ones.
>.<
whoops!
I do love my Gothic parasol it have purple flowers on top too!

I also went for a smarter Gothic chic look too

This was easy to do I got out my skater dress and out a white blouse under it to make it look more like a Jumper skirt (JSK).

I also added a cute hair accessories to my hair of a Mega size daisy to make it more girly.

I hope to do more outfits soon! Maybe with more Gothic like make up with some cute added to it.
Any hows,
Stay super Kawaii!

Gothic, lets make it Cute

As I still have a fond love for Gothic stuff becoming a Gothic Lolita is rather easy to achieve in outfits, one of my liked shops is a shop called Kate's clothing Which is in the UK.

What I do really like about this online shop is its range,It is more Gothic Retro than others but I like that because the items are colourful and not all Gloomy black.
I have ordered ,well My hubby has for me,which I got the pink and black Petite coat skirt and this Gothic Top.I had no problems with ordering from them and the dispatch was also quick and those whom know me well I hate waiting! ^__^''

The Range of stuff is Great  Corsets,Dresses,Punk,Retro,Gothic,Romantic,Emo, Steam-punk and with this kind of range for both Men and Women then add the range of Accessories of leg warmers tights, Jewellery, outdoor accessories  umbrellas and hair dye there is something for every one.
So I had a good look at what they had to offer and picked a few things I thought would work and you could add to your closets with Gothic pieces that would create a new look!

I thought this would be great for a Casual top teamed with a cute black and white skirt below to make a semi cheeky Gothic outfit.

Then I found this dress and thought it was the cutest thing ever!

Its got a cherry and fruity print its so sweet and great for summer for a Sweet Lolita or a retro kind of girl!
And this one too for a more Gothic look!

there are so many things Id love to show you but we will be here all day!
so finally one of the things I have set my heart on is this...

I love this top and it would be perfect with any skirt or to put under a dress for any Lolita style its simple but its so pretty with its lace and high neck even the slightly puff arm sleeves,oh and at the back its go a lace up corset style design *LOVE* so I would wear it with a skirt.
Take a look at the back.

I recommed that you have a look at Kate's Clothing where you can zoom into the photos (handy) and see the prints more clearly and see what sizes they have in store and you can easily contact them with any questions.

You can find them hear at
The online shop
and
the link to their Facebook page.
Also they have a Press and news page so go check them out and make Gothic Kawaii!

Hidden in the shadows

Happy Friday the 13th!
*@__@*  I do not see this day as unlucky ( a superstition before the 19th century) I think is Lucky for me with being pagan  we see it as a magical date, thirteen has a strong association with the moon and there are thirteen lunar cycles each year.
So I thought Id tie my Blog Entry of my Kawaii Finding with a Alternative shop that happens to be in Scotland *^__^*but not only that its online too!
